Go Natural With Mineral Makeup

mineral-makeupFace it my pretties, we are living in a mineral world and I am a mineral girl. Where would I be without mineral makeup and Madonna? I know all of you have heard about mineral makeup (late nights watching QVC perhaps? I understand, no judging), but do you know why you should be using it? Here a bit of beauty advice: mineral makeup is paraben-free, non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic + it offers natural sun protection. Now you know! Do the right thing…

i just started using raw minerals about a month ago and i’m noticing that my pores are getting plugged up what can i do? This has never happened to me before. I love the make up. Should i stick with a liquid and not powder?

I have been using Raw Minerals since March and also am using their skin care trio. I am a person who has never believed comments like ” it made me look younger”, etc. A few days ago I had a friend tell me that I was “looking younger” and I couldn’t believe it. My skin has improved overall and I love the way I look. It also feels like I’m not wearing make-up and I love that. I don’t know if these are average results, but I’m now a believer.

Hey Deborah! Most likely it isn’t the Raw Minerals causing your pores to clog, but dirt, oil and dead skin cells that are creating the buildup. I suggest adding a salicylic acid cleanser to your skincare routine every couple of days to lightly exfoliate and unclog your pores. I just started using Glytone’s Acne Treatment Facial Cleanser. I really like it—it isn’t too harsh and it’s a great price. We have more salicylic acid cleansers on glow.com so check it out. Hope this helps, let me know!
